The Huntington Booster Club Annual Fundraiser was a success, thanks to everyone that played their part by organizing, purchasing a ticket, donating and sponsoring. And a big shout out to THE BOGMEN for allowing us to share the stage and including the HHS choir……. You guys rock!
Our honoree, Greg Kline was no doubt with us and proud of our town rallying to support our kids in their athletic pursuits. And on veteran's weekend, The Booster Club WAS excited to announce that the Kline Family has generously donated the funds to raise a new 50ft flagpole between the two turf fields at Huntington High School!
Greg was passionate about his family, the Blue Devils, and our veterans. He devoted his life to all three and the flag is a beautiful representation of his commitment that will shine over our school district for decades to come!!

ABOUT THE BOOSTER CLUB
As a parent, I understand the importance of supporting our youth in their athletic pursuits. That's why I am deeply moved by the mission of the Huntington Booster Club, a non-profit organization comprising of passionate parents, coaches, school administrators, community members, and alumni, who are all committed to promoting, encouraging, and supporting athletic participation and excellence for our students.
The Booster Club is more than just a fundraising organization, they are a SECOND FAMILY. They provide our children with a supportive environment that fosters teamwork, leadership, and self-confidence. The primary focus of the Booster Club is to financially enhance the district's physical education and athletic department budget across ALL sports, providing the necessary support for our students to reach their full potential. By maintaining and improving athletic facilities at our schools, purchasing equipment for students and teams, conducting summer sports camps, distributing annual scholarships, and providing support to underprivileged families, the Booster Club is creating a POSITIVE IMPACT on the lives of the young athletes in our community.
The Booster Club's commitment to these goals is truly inspiring. By working together and contributing to annual membership dues and fundraising initiatives, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students. Engaging in athletics provides our youth with a healthy outlet for managing stress. Sports activities promote mental wellness, allowing our children to build resilience and cope with the challenges of everyday life. I am moved by the dedication and selflessness of the Booster Club members who give so generously of their time, resources, and expertise to make a difference in the lives of our young athletes.
In these challenging times, supporting our youth is more important than ever. Join us in supporting the Huntington Booster Club and help us create a brighter future for the students of the Huntington School District. Together, we can make a lasting impact on their lives and give them the opportunity to SHINE!

HONOREE ~ GREGORY J. KLINE
Greg Kline was born and raised in Huntington, and his roots in the community run deep. From a young age, he was a gifted athlete playing multiple sports for the BLUE DEVILS, quickly becoming a standout on and off the field. His dedication to sports was matched only by the love of his hometown, and he took great pride in representing Huntington at EVERY opportunity.
Upon graduating from HHS, Greg took his lacrosse skills to the University of Massachusetts, where his teammates promoted him to CAPTAIN.
Greg went on to pursue a successful career in finance, but his passion for sports never wavered. He remained an active member of the BLUE DEVILS community, volunteering his time and expertise to support young athletes to help them achieve their full potential.
In addition to his contributions to the local sports scene, Greg was a devoted husband to his wife Melissa, an alumni of HHS, and a loving father to his three children Mikey, Tommy, and Gracie, all of whom proudly play for the BLUE DEVILS. He instilled in them a deep sense of pride in their heritage and taught them the value of hard work, dedication, and community spirit.
Throughout his life, Greg embodied the best of Huntington. He was a kind and generous man who always put the needs of others before his own, and his impact on the BLUE DEVILS community will be felt for years to come. Though he may no longer be with us, his legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched and the many young athletes he inspired to reach for greatness!
